The first and last place I visited on my last trip in Thailand is Siam. I first took notice of the place on the night of our arrival. The train we rode passed by Siam station and the beautiful fountain and big LED display at Siam Center immediately caught my attention.
After dropping my stuff at where we were staying, we went to the place. It’s easy to go to Siam area. At the Siam BTS station, you can easily access nearby malls like my favorite Siam Center, Siam Paragon and Siam Discovery.
Siam center is a paradise for me. The whole place is like a museum, only that it has boutiques. Every corner was artistically designed. Iloveditsomuch!!
Beautiful paintings
Boutiques
Galleries
Mind-blowing stuff
And more!!!
We had our dinner at one of the restaurants in Food Republic inside Siam Center. Surprisingly, the food sold there are not that expensive. You can have a yummy and satisfying meal for only 100 baht!
I have a separate blog entry on food I enjoyed eating in Thailand so I’ll just be showing how cute the restaurant was. 😉
In front of Siam Center is Siam Paragon. One look and you know that it is a luxurious mall.
There’s also another sophisticated mall beside Siam Center which is Siam Discovery but I didn’t dare to explore it.
On the opposite side of the road, there is a place called Siam Square. It has around 5 streets if I am not mistaken. There are shops and restaurants at the area. I went there in the morning so I didn’t really see much.
However, you may enjoy Siam square in the evening because there are lots of cheap but of good quality finds at the night market.
In conclusion, if you love shopping and artsy stuff, Siam area is definitely the place for you! Enjoy travelling! 🙂
