The golden trio or the three must-visit-at-all-cost places in Thailand are Wat Pho, Wat Arun and Grand Palace. I only visited the first and the last one. Because I rode the boat a lot of times during my trip, I got to see the beautiful Wat Arun from afar and I was already satisfied with what I saw.

I visited Wat Pho twice during my trip. First, alone, and then with my mother the day before our departure.

Wat Pho is most famous for the reclining Buddha. I knew that it’s big based from pictures but I still got surprised on how BIG it really was.

More pictures below (Click for description):
Along the hallway, there’s a long line of pots with coins. There’s a belief that dropping coins will bring good luck.
Outside the temple of the reclining Buddha, there are other wonders worth seeing as well.

Touring Wat Pho took 2 hours and it was worth it. Now I know why it shouldn’t be missed in Thailand! I will be posting about Grand Palace soon. Please stay tuned!
I also like Wat Pho. Did you try massage there?
Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to try Thai massage. Did you?
I’ve tried massage, but not at Wat Pho.
