Activities during winter are either limited or expensive, for example, skiing. Many people prefer the usual indoor activities such as watching movies, going to the cafe, or staying at home. It is cozy, but from time to time, it’s good to enjoy this season and “chill” outside. One of the things I recommend is going for a hike along Hanyangdoseong or Seoul City Wall. These walls, which surround the capital, served as protection against invaders 600 years ago. Unlike other hiking trails, the path along these walls have stairs and railings. You don’t have to worry a lot about getting lost in the woods or slipping when there’s snow. You just need to follow the path. Of course, don’t forget to dress appropriately and bring water and lots of heat packs! There’s a lot of recommended trails, which you can walk along to from 1 to 3 hours. Once you get to the top, I’m sure you will be amazed by the beautiful and calm view of snow-filled Seoul. Enjoy!
